Vintage Boccato, Gigante, Zambusi Architetti modernist sculptural vase produced by SicArt Cartigliano made in Italy circa 1970s.
Scarce super sculptural / space age modernist vase by the trio of famed architects. Chunky ceramic body with long narrow oval shape bisected by 6 vertical textural columns in high gloss black glaze. Has some repaired chips as pictured mostly at base with one top corner edge and some age appropriate wear to interior, shows very well. Label on base. Priced accordingly, it's a hard one to find and retails for more than double elsewhere. The shape lends itself to use as a magazine rack as well. At least that's what I used it for.
