DriadeKosmo 'Matthew Boulton' Candelabras 2005
'Matthew Boulton' candelabras by Giuseppe Chigiotti for DriadeKosmo made in Italy circa 2005.
A candlestick for 5 candles inspired by the story of the English Matthew Boulton who was the pioneer of the industrial production of ornamental silver pieces. Produced in polished nickel-plated brass, the candlestick consists of a central axis made up of conical compositions on which one of the five candle holders is at the top, from the same central axis four sinuous arms branch off that end with four candle holder cones. Shows some age appropriate patina and minor scuffs as pictured with some veining to base. Very nice quality and pretty fantastic in person. Sold singularly or as a pair.
13" tall. 9.25" diameter.
