Deadstock postmodern Huhn tabletop sculpture by Matteo Thun for GardenCreatures by Conmoto made in Germany 1997.
From the brochure: "So far, garden gnomes have given the garden a personal emotional appeal in the form of good spirits and have always remained a ridiculed symbol of the down-to-earth garden. GardenCreatures are creatures for the modern and contemporary garden. They attract attention not only during the day with their imaginative design and surface texture. Rather, they bring life into the nocturnal garden when illuminated from behind and give it a previously unknown modern life of its own"
Features metal biomorphic chicken (Huhn) sculpture on silver wood base with synthetic grass. Sculpture rotates to reveal open back and space for votive candle. Red plastic candle holder included. In excellent condition. Grass has a little extra that could be trimmed. Impossibly hard to find. Includes original box and pamphlet.
