Vintage 'Bowls Plus' by Michelle Huang for Droog 2002 made in The Netherlands.
Features three dark green melamine stacking bowls with various shapes. One with rounded base (it wobbles), one with small round protrusion and another with angled large bowl with smaller attached bowl.
In Chinese culture one leaves a bit of food, as if to say ‘you gave me plenty’. Michelle Huang re-invented this etiquette with bowls that have compartments for saving a little. An excellent example of 2000s design. Shows minor scuffs from stacking and one bowl has small scratch as pictured. She's a hard set to find.
