Vintage Contour bowl By Mark Naden for Pure Design Canada 2000. Winner of the ICFF Editors Award 2001.
The Contour Bowl, developed by Naden of New York-based Toda, is made from 1/4-inch plywood with 2D sections built up to connote solid form based on topography. Made of solid Birch plywood that breaks down into multiple pieces assuming you wanted to take it apart. Has some age appropriate wear as pictured with a few spots, shows excellently.Its pretty big, hand for scale. Has original box and packaging from my own collection. Exceptionally hard to find and pretty fab.
