Scarce Andrea Branzi 'Mama-ò' Postmodern Kettle 1988
Regular price $425.00
Scarce 'Mama-ò' postmodern kettle designed in 1988 by Andrea Branzi for Alessi limited production made in Italy 1992.
Exceptionally hard to find outside of museum collections the Mama-ò combines Branzi's wit with the know how of Alessi to produce a kettle that is really quite spectacular. Kettle features mirror polished stainless steel body with double spouts and happy face dog tag whistles and handle in dark grey polyamide plastic. You pull the tag to remove whistle to fill and empty kettle, one whistle has a repaired fracture as pictured. I didn't yank on it so not 100% sure durability fyi. Otherwise shows minor age appropriate wear / usage. Minor scuffs etc. She's more than double the price elsewhere, a much sought after functional design.
8.5" tall. 10.5" wide. 8" diameter.
