Deadstock 'Mono Ring' Tasting Set by Peter Raacke for MONO Germany 1966.

Raacke revolutionized fine dining manners with his idea that flatware does not need a drawer. Instead, it can simply hang on a stand in the middle of a dining table, accessible to all diners, turning stiff formal dinners into relaxed meals. A design icon of the the era the Mono Ring set consists of 4 steel utensils in multicolor dipped plastic handles with peg board display. The Tasting Set is a singular set of fork, knife, soup spoon and dessert spoon. With original box (graphic design by Karl Oskar Blase). Box shows wear throughout as pictured otherwise in unused condition. A scarce find in multicolor and highly collectible. Sourced in Amsterdam.

5.5-8.75" long. .75"-2"wide.
