Scarce vintage Roman revival drum table by Maitland Smith made in the Philippines circa 1990s.
Features wood construction with Coquile d'Oeuf (crushed egg shells) lacquer finish in a Romanesque mega graphic. Drum shaped central section with removable base and lid for storage or usage as a tray with finished interior. Has some chipping to lacquer as shown with minor age appropriate wear throughout. Shows extremely well. Its giving Cleopatra & Mark Antony by way of Fornasetti and a rare as hell find. It's absolutely spectacular, would be a great coffee table just needs a round piece of glass, fyi. Paper label on interior along with some interior writing.
18" tall. 22" diameter.
