Scarce HI-SENSE flatware by Shigeo Fukuda circa 1990 set of 10.
Shigeo Fukuda (1932-2009) was an iconic graphic designer and master of illusion in illustration. HI-SENSE is an extremely scarce example of a tactile usable tool from Fukuda. In stainless steel each fork, spoon and knife has some sort of clever gimmick. Whether its a knife that's too jagged, a fork that's too long and curved, a spoon thats flat each item has a wit to it making them extremely fun to use. 10 pieces total, 2 forks, 2 knives and 6 spoons. (2 flat spoons, 2 upside spoons, 2 spoons that are negative and positive) All pieces show excellently with minimal wear if any. Exceptionally hard to find and really a knock-out. (The last 10 piece set went for $7k at auction)
