Banana Split is an iconic, highly influential photo book published in 1982 is by the visionary visual artist and photographer Cheyco Leidmann, created in close collaboration with graphic designer and stylist Ypsitylla von Nazareth, the book is widely celebrated as a definitive landmark of early 1980s hyperrealistic, supersaturated pop aesthetic. Its a fashion / graphic design holy grail in my opinion. Here, shockingly, is the calendar version which I can not find record of anywhere. 12 months of Banana Split content with graphic calendar dates in full insane color. Has age appropriate wear as pictured, dog eared pages, minor tears and looseness at corners of binding. Signed on last page: "For Adrian and something from the bottom of our hearts" -Cheyco and Ypsitylla 2018.
Exceptionally rare, sold as is is because of condition, still hows well but fyi.
