Scarce 'Platter / Crack' by Takenobu Igarashi produced by Yamasho Casting hand made in Japan 1989.
Features large bowl in black die cast iron with sculptural crack detail. Appropriate as a fruit bowl or display piece by the legendary graphic designer. Labeled on base showing minor age appropriate wear, with sticker residue to base as pictured. Shows exceptionally well, what looks like a spot on the dish is just the light reflecting off of the handmade quality of the cast iron. Extremely hard piece to come by, it's a real stunner. Been looking for one for a decade.
