Scarce Toshiaki Horio 'Olio' prototype chair for Muji produced by Cassina 1992.
Features sculptural cobalt blue lacquered paper seat (similar in texture and strength to leather) on black enameled aluminum frame. Very lightweight and yet sturdy from hard wearing materials. Shows some minor patina (similar to leather again) mosty at edges otherwise in excellent condition. Only produced for two years, and only sold in the Asia market, it won a "Good Design" gold award in 1991. A scarce and awesome find.
