Custom sculptural chair by Brooklyn artist Thomas Barger (B. 1992) represented by SALON 94 Design commissioned circa 2018.
Features paper pulp on found form built up in sculptural form with polyurethane / resin coating and dark grey pigment. Rounded seat back with multiple holes and chunky legs with round feet. Has spikey detail and organic folding feature at seat uncommon on most of his work. Shows minor age appropriate wear, scuffs, paint loss and small partition on seat. Signed on base. Shows excellently and is substantial in form. Gallery level shit.
