A modern classic 5450 ‘Tikal’ table lamp, designed by Vico Magistretti in 2004 for Italian lighting firm Candle, part of the FontanaArte group. The lamp is of helmet-like form comprising two off-axis elements of which the base is fixed and is topped by a second mobile shade that spins to regulate the amount of light emitted. When aligned, the light is a thin slit, and when fully rotated it casts a pool of illumination. In white enamel and midnight blue. Shades are interchangeable as shown. Midnight blue has small imperfection to enamel as pictured. On/Off switch on cord with included LED bulb, Euro plug and adapters. Sold as a pair.
